Day 27:  30 Days of Prayer for Hope

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)

Our mission: Transforming the lives of children at mortal risk, providing them and their future generations with a productive future and eternal hope.

It’s thrilling to sit in our graduate church and look around the room at generations of Hope Unlimited graduates and their children worshiping there. The greatest thrill is knowing how different the lives of these graduates’ children will be because their parents embraced the chance to transform that was offered to them. That’s where the “and their future generations” part of our mission comes to fruition!

Father, we ask your blessing on the families of Hope Unlimited. Bless the parents committed to breaking cycles of poverty, despair, and hopelessness. Bless their children growing up in homes committed to you.
